Collins is an advocate admitted to practice law in Zambia. His areas of practice include Commercial law, Corporate Law as well as Criminal law. As a Corporate and Commercial lawyer, Collins worked in the Banking sector for over 5 years under Legal and Compliance Departments where he handled a number of legal, compliance and regulatory issues. Collins is also an academician currently lecturing at Zambian Open University. He obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Zambia; Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Zambia and a Certificate in Prosecution from National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA). He equally possesses certifications in Monitoring & Evaluation from the University of Zambia, computer systems from Graduate Systems, Certification in Legal Writing & Analysis and Graduate Level Certificate in Legal Drafting and Communication from the University of Zambia in conjunction with DLA Piper and Chibesakunda & Co. Lastly, Collins is currently acting as Legal Advisor for Zambian Open University whose role includes legal advisory services to the university and handling any legal & compliance related issues for the University. He is also currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law at the Zambian Open University.
